Sviyazhsk was founded in 1551 as an outpost of Ivan the Terrible before the capture of Kazan. The fortress was cut down in Uglich, and afterwards, it was floated down the river. And, as if by the pike's will, in just 4 weeks a new town - Sviyazhsk - stood up. No one before or after Ivan the Terrible had ever built a city so quickly. The wooden Trinity Church from those times is still preserved.
Sviyazhsk is an amazing place with its history, legends and even weather. It is always interesting here both in summer and winter. There is still a place for miracles here.

Cheboksary
One hundred and sixty kilometers from Kazan, on the banks of the Volga River, is one of the most interesting cities in Russia - Cheboksary.
The first mention of the city dates back to the campaign of Moscow Prince Vasily the Dark against Kazan in 1469. Although there is evidence of the beginning of settlement in this place in the 13th century by settlers from the Bulgarian settlement Suvar.
In our Excursion you will learn the legends and histories of the Chuvash people. Appreciate the national cuisine and, of course, Chuvash beer, which is talked about even abroad. You will visit the tractor factory. During the excursion you will learn how Cheboksary turned from a simple town on the Volga into an industrial giant of the country. And you will also be able to drive the legendary tractor “Kazakhstan”, known to many by the movie “Sunrise virgin land”.
“Cheboksary is closer than it seems.”

And we will also visit the Tractor Museum - Russia's only specialized, scientific, educational and enlightenment center.
On the area of more than 1.5 thousand square meters the full history of the tractor-building thought, which went from a primitive cart to a space tractor, is presented. In addition to rare items and collectible models, about 40 real rare tractors parked in the hall are waiting for you. Also on the program - stunning photos, personal souvenirs and even, perhaps, a master class in tractor driving!
